Rural Development Housing Program

Dane County Housing Authority owns a 16–unit elderly/disabled building located in Cross Plains, WI. The development known as Valley View Apartments was completed in 1980. Project development funding came from Rural Development (formerly known as the Farmer’s Home Administration). Rent assistance is provided to the residents with funds provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The units are 1-bedroom located in a two-story building. Beautiful landscaping surrounds the building, and many upgrades have been done in past years including the installation of an elevator.
