Pregnancy & Prenatal Care

  • Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC)

    • PNCC is a part of Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus which provides free support & services for pregnant people. A PNCC nurse will meet with you while you're pregnant and during the first two months of your child's life to help guide you with personal support, help getting healthcare, preparation for the new baby, finding community services, and information on health topics.     • ​If you are pregnant and live in Dane County, call 608-266-4821, visit their website, or (if you have WIC) ask about PNCC at your next appointment with your doctor.

  • ​Nurse Family Partnership Program (NFP)

    • If it is your first pregnancy, you are 28wks pregnant or less, and you are income eligible (you are income eligible if you qualify for WIC, W-2, FoodShare, and/or Medicaid, though you do not need to be enrolled to apply), you can apply for NFP.​ Click here to download a flyer.

    • To get learn more or see if you are eligible for NFP, call or text 844-637-6667 or visit the website and fill out the contact form.

  • Breastfeeding Support Line 

    • The breastfeeding support line provides support and resources for parents who are struggling with breastfeeding their baby. You can call at 608-243-0449 to speak with a breastfeeding counselor for free.​

Adolescent & Children's Mental & Behavioral Health

  • Madison-area Out-of-School Time (MOST)

    • MOST's Program Finder & Organization Finder help families and youth find quality programs offered before and after school and during summer and holiday breaks for Madison-area youth.​

  • Well Badger Resource Center: Children's Mental & Behavioral Health Resource Navigator

    • The WBRC's free, online, anonymous tool helps parents, caregivers, and professionals navigate resources for a child, adolescent, or young adult with mental or behavioral health concerns. They can complete the confidential questionnaire and, once finished, review a customized resource guide (free to download or save) to navigate mental health resources. If you need help or have any questions, you can call Well Badger at 1-800-642-7837 or email at help@wellbadger.org

 

Healthcare for Dane County Children & Adolescents

  • Birth-to-3 Program

    • Birth-to-3 is an early intervention program for infants & toddlers (birth to 36 months) with developmental delays/disabilities (diagnosed disability or 25% delay in 1+ areas of development). Birth-to-3 works in partnership with families to enhance child development and provide support to families and their kids. ​​

  • Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Medicaid Waiver
