The waiting list for Public Housing in Dane County (Mazomanie only) for a one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes will be open starting at 8:00AM on January 4th, 2023, and will remain open until further notice. Applications received during this time will be used to fill upcoming vacancies.
To qualify for a 1-bedroom unit, you must have a household size of 1-2.
To qualify for a 2-bedroom unit, you must have a household size of 2-4.
To qualify for a 3-bedroom unit, you must have a household size of 3-6.
To qualify for a 4-bedroom unit, you must have a household size of 4-8.
Rent is based on 30% of your gross income.
Please visit 120 Fourth St., Mazomanie, WI 53560 OR 4801 Tradewinds Parkway, Madison, WI 53718 during their open hours of 8AM - 4PM Monday through Friday to fill out an application during the listed time, or call Wisconsin Management at 608-401-1155 with any questions.

Valor on Washington PBVs
Project-Specific PBV Waiting List Opening for veterans & their families.
The Valor apartment community, located at 1322 East Washington in Madison, offers affordable two- and three-bedroom apartment homes for veterans and their families. 8 of the units will have Project Based Vouchers (PBVs).
In order to qualify for the PBVs at Valor, applicants must:

have a household member who is a veteran

qualify for a two- or three-bedroom unit based on DCHA subsidy standards & their household composition

HUD regulations have been passed which require the owners/landlords of all properties that receive federal rental assistance to provide a functioning carbon monoxide alarm/detector, with this requirement being effective Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 (12/27/2022).
